New Bahru is a new lifestyle cluster located at the former Nan Chiau High School.
New Bahru will open progressively from now until its September grand opening, but about half of its tenants are already open.
The cluster hosts a variety of retail, dining, lifestyle, and wellness shops.
There’s definitely enough to explore, and for kids, a new Kiztopia has also opened there so you can easily have a family day out.
2. Seletar Rocket Tower
Upper Seletar Reservoir Park is home to 15 hectares of natural vegetation and the Upper Seletar Reservoir.
Offering panoramic views of the reservoir, the Seletar Rocket Tower is an interesting photo opportunity for nature enthusiasts.
The 18m lookout tower built in 1969 is well worth the climb.
3. Rail Corridor
The 24 km long Rail Corridor is a continuous green passage that allows wildlife movement between major green spaces. It also serves as a recreational corridor for all members of the public.
The Rail Corridor is not lit at night to facilitate nocturnal wildlife movement. For safety, visitors are encouraged to exit the Rail Corridor by nightfall.

Coastal PlayGrove is a one-stop family destination with a range of facilities for a fun day out.
These facilities include:

- The 4th floor slide is the tallest outdoor slide in Singapore.
Location: East Coast Park Area B (902 East Coast Park Service Rd, Singapore 449874). Accessible via the Amber Gardens Underpass.
5. Changi Jurassic Mile
Jurassic Mile is Singapore’s newest and largest permanent outdoor display of life-sized dinosaurs. More than 20 different pre-historic creatures from nine different species stretch over 1-kilometre of the cycling and jogging path.
Expect to see carnivorous and herbivorous species, defensive dinosaurs, as well as those that fly. The tallest dinosaur stands at almost 5 meters high!
From a towering Tyrannosaurus Rex to gigantic dinosaur eggs, visitors will be wowed by the lifelike dinosaur exhibits at the Changi Jurassic Mile, making it a perfect outdoor weekend destination for families and friends.
By MRT
