6 Millionaire Secrets to Grow Wealth: Turn Problems into Profit

0

Ever wonder how millionaires made their wealth?

This post explores 6 millionaire secrets, that you can use to inspire you to achieve your financial goals.

This post was written by a Financial Horse Contributor.

1. Turn problems into profit

Millionaires build their wealth because they are able to turn problems into profit.

They provide value to society, and are rewarded for it.

They do well at work as they are able to contribute to their company’s bottom life.

They do well at their own business because they help to bring solutions to customers.

2. Reading has the best ROI

Millionaires know the importance of knowledge.

They are always learning.

Warren Buffett famously said, “Read 500 pages [of books] like this every day. That’s how knowledge works. It builds up, like compound interest. All of you can do it, but I guarantee not many of you will do it.”

All of you can do it, but I guarantee not many of you will do it.

“I read and think,” Buffett once said. “So I do more reading and thinking, and make less impulse decisions than most people in business. I do it because I like this kind of life.”

3. Overcoming setbacks to success

If you’re a successful millionaire, it doesn’t mean that you don’t experience failure.

Far from it, all successful people have overcome setback after setback on their way to success, and will continue to overcome obstacles that come their way.

There is no shortcut to success, and setbacks are just part of the journey.

So you need to know how to face setbacks, and learn to become stronger from it.

4. Organized

Millionaires lead busy lives, so they need to be organized.

If you want to have a lot of wealth, you need to have your life in order.

According to a study on millionaires, 44% reported that they wake up at least three hours before their work day begins.

Once that day starts, it’s often organized. More than three-quarters, 81%, shared that they keep a to-do list.

5. Focused on producing instead of consuming

When you have free time, focusing on producing instead of consuming.

Focus on building and growing your skills and knowledge, instead of minless consumption.

This includes learning new things, reading, exercising, networking, being creative etc.

Consuming includes things like watching TV/Netflix, scrolling on social media etc.

While relaxation is important for every individual, it should also be managed such that you are prioritizing things that nourish your mind & body.

Author of “Rich Habits: The Daily Success Habits Of Wealthy Individuals”  found that 67% of rich people limited TV time to one hour or less per day, compared to only 23% of poor people.

6. Say “Yes” and “No” strategically

Say No without guilt, Say Yes without fear.

This is a very deep quote that is worth unpacking.

We only have 24 hours a day, so what you do with that time is important.

What you do and who you hang out with has a great impact on your life and goals, so choose carefully.

Say No without guilt, when it means you are prioritizing yourself. Protect your physical and mental health.

Say Yes without fear, to opportunities and new experiences. Open your eyes to new points of view and opportunities will come knocking.
